Lime Tree Cottage in Cumbria is a newly built property which was completed in December 2006 and has been constructed with careful attention to detail and inkeeping with the traditional Lake District village cottages.

The cottage is on three floors and has real wood flooring throughout.

The ground floor is a bright and airy open plan space with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge complete with a beautiful Franco Belge wood burning stove. This area will delight guests seeking an up to the minute feel for their holiday retreat.

On the second floor reached via the exposed timber staircase you will find a spacious master bedroom, a small single bedroom next door ideal for a young child or toddler and a luxurious bathroom with bath, over head shower and wall hung w/c.

The third floor leads to the spacious twin room which uses the full floor area of the property. From the traditional wooden sash window there are views across to the fells.

Linden in Cumbria is an ideal base for touring, walking, sailing, fishing, mountain biking or simply unwinding. The Edwardian seaside town of Grange-over-Sands known as the Riviera of Cumbria with its tropical gardens and ornamental lake is only 2 miles away, the village of Cartmel famous for its horse races and sticky toffee pudding is 3 miles, and the bottom end of Lake Windermere and Newby Bridge is approximately 4 miles.
